The most important decision anyone can make is the decision to invite Jesus Christ to be their personal Lord and Savior. While many decisions affect life, only this one decision changes life as through God’s grace we are forgiven of all of our sins, and restored to favor with God.
In making the decision to invite Jesus into your life you have repented of your sins. That means you have made a willful choice to stop sinning now and turn your back on that old way of life. You have also invited Christ into your heart — where He has forgiven your sins and begun a process to make you into a whole new person. Remember — you didn’t get here on your own. The Holy Spirit helped you through this entire process and will be with you every day to help you to be the person God desires for you to be.
So that you can understand a little better what it means to be “saved,” or in better terms, to invite Jesus into your heart, check out these links and join me in a series of studies on what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.
Also, take a moment to send me a note through the contact form on this page! I will personally respond to you and help you as you begin this new journey in the family of God!
